Bindery
Your print job is often not complete without the finishing touches such as folding, inserting, stapling, and binding. At C.I.S. we have a full array of finishing services to meet your every need.

Perfect binding gives a result matching paperback books. National Geographic is one example of this type of binding. Documents can also be bound using a simple corner staple or folded & saddle stitched into booklets. You can bind larger documents using Wire-o, Coil and Cerlox Bindings for a slick professional look. Custom colours are available for report covers etc.

Mounting
Plaque Mounting
Your print is mounted to a 3/8" solid backing board and then laminated with a film that protects your print from fingerprints, dirt, moisture and other contaminants. The edges of the peak are bevelled and colored. There is a variety of edge colors to choose from. A slot in the back allows for easy hanging flush to the wall.


Flushmount
The image is dry-mounted on 1/8" tempered masonite and sealed with a matte laminate. A 3/4" box frame is attached to the back to create a 3 dimensional look. Edges are bevelled and finished in a variety of colours.


Floatmount
Similar to the flushmount except the box frame is smaller than the masonite and is centered on the back to give the illusion that the picture is floating from the wall. The edges are bevelled and finished in a variety of colours.


Canvas Stretching
Impressive Giclée canvas' stretched over stretcher bars for that polished Gallery Wrap finish. We also offer a top coat varnish option to protect your final piece(s). If you wish we can put brush strokes onto the surface of the print for a bona fide look of an actual painting. Is that cool or what?


Shadow box
Your print is mounted to a 3/8" acid free foamcore then framed in a beautiful thick moulding. Typically used for dioramas and sports memorabilia they are specially designed to let light pass through from only one angle, this way objects within are less susceptible to damage from light.

Foamcore & Gator Board
A strong lightweight easily cut material useful for backing, mounting, framing, 3D design and painting. It consists of two layers. An inner layer of acid free polystyrene clad with an outer layer of white or black claycoated hard paper.

Lamination
Preserve your special items by having them laminated. We can laminate both small and large format images. Gloss, matte, single or double sided we are your solution for image protection.

We have a wide range of finishing options depending on your needs. Large format prints can be mounted on a variety of substrates from lightweight card or foamcore through heavy-duty gatorboard all in a variety of colours. Lamination is available in a number of weights and your posters can be UV protected to minimize fading.
